We understand that to change the lives of those with multiple and complex barriers to work, requires a willingness to get out into the community, and deliver training within neighbourhoods.

So that's what we've been doing in Sunderland since 2018... well, Colin has.

This is Colin

We deliver training in Sunderland as part of the Adult Education Budget, through Sunderland City Council. The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities. We are able to offer places to people who do not meet the criteria for this funding/ require additional support through grant funding from The Lauderdale Trust and Sir James Knott Trust.
