We understand that to change the lives of those with multiple and complex barriers to work, requires a willingness to get out into the community, and deliver training within neighbourhoods.
So that's what we've been doing in Sunderland since 2018... well, Colin has.

This is Colin
Our Training Hub in Hendon is now home to all of our programmes in Sunderland. Colin has been joined by John and together they provide both indoor and outdoor practical learning opportunities, designed to help people build their confidence, learn new things and move forward.

Here's what we're delivering currently:

If you're a Sunderland resident, over 18 years old and keen to move forward, you can access free work based training to help you progress at your own pace.

If you're simply looking to gain confidence and start something new, our 'How do you do that?' course could be just the thing.
Or, if you're more confident with tools, or further along in your journey to employment, our accredited courses may be more suitable?

Either way, check out the flyer for more details and if you have any questions, call 0191 5003345
We deliver training in Sunderland as part of the Learning and Skills Service Adult Skills Fund, through Sunderland City Council. The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities. We are able to offer places to people who do not meet the criteria for this funding/ require additional support through grant funding from The Lauderdale Trust and Sir James Knott Trust.
